Alternative A extends through a portion of the historic district not contributing to the district, and, therefore, might not be considered a Section 4(f) use. Further coordination with the SHPO and FHWA is required to determine this. Alternative B would impact contributing resources and is therefore clearly a Section 4(f) use.
