| 4. Identify measures to avoid, minimize, or mitigate any potential adverse effects | Identify measures to mitigate adverse impacts resulting from selected alternative to be discussed in Draft EIS |
| Develop measures to resolve adverse effects for selected alternative | During preparation of Final EIS, identify measures to mitigate adverse impacts resulting from selected alternative |
| Execute MOA or PA formalizing measures to resolve adverse effects resulting from selected alternative | Approve EIS/Record of Decision after MOA or PA is executed. Environmental commitments in ROD should include those in project MOA or PA |
Note: Section 106 public involvement should be integrated with public involvement associated with the preparation of the Draft EIS and Final EIS.
